A town known for winning the Little League World Series in 1989, Trumbull is a town located within Fairfield County, Connecticut.  The 2000 census reported that the town had a population of 34,243, perfect for anyone looking for a respite from the big city life.  The town of Trumbull covers just over 23 square miles, of which about 1% is water.  Trumbull is a relatively quiet town, and many like it because it is just big enough to have all of the shopping and dining one would want, but not all of the traffic and crime generally associated with larger cities.

The town of Trumbull has over 1,400 acres of park land.  The Tashua Knolls Golf Course provides recreation for many residents.  A recreation area, located near the golf course, offers swimming pools, tennis courts and other outdoor recreational facilities.
